Environmental protection licenses for all the Company’s factories have bee obtained from the Central Environmental Authority where water, noise and air pollution standards are maintained in accordance with industrial standards. A locally made water purification plant has been installed with a treatment capacity of 1000 Ltrs per day. Production processes are adjusted to meet environmental standards by using less harmful raw materials and chemicals. Solid waste is collected and disposed under local authority approval. Noise and pollution levels are controlled as required by the Central Environmental Authority. The Executive Committee under the Managing Director of the CEO establishes environmental policy and monitors environmental compliance for Nippolac’s environmental policies and for making health, safety, and environmental considerations a priority in planning for all existing and new products and process. |
